Trying to be More Mindful

The irony of wanting to relax and wanting to reach more at the same time is always in my mind. Why bother trying if we know we are not bound to be someone special, such as Steve Jobs, the next Nadiem Makariem, or Muhammad Al Fatih?

How, we, as someone not special, do something special? Something that anyone can do, but we do it more.

Recently, I found this video on youtube. No clickbait title, no fancy cover image, yet this video hits me hard.

Something very simple yet very powerful if we add them all up until the rest of our life. Not only about walking, but also including our mundane routines which are not exactly mundane if we be more mindful. Here, mindful is not only be present.

How having different sets of du'a for every activity is the real act of mindfulness. Being in the state of remembrance, remember why we do those routines, and remember our final objectives for the real future (aka hereafter).

Well, I'm no fancy preacher, nor having the prowess to gather words as beautifully written by Aida Azlin who regularly sent insightful newsletter every week. But I hope you find something good from this post, and my other posts in this blog.

InshaAllah
